The methodical work of building forward

Building Ground exists for the people who arrive — at a new country, a new career, a new chapter of their lives — and discover that arriving is not the same as integrating. The hard work begins after.

This is a channel and forthcoming practice for educated immigrants from developing countries who are navigating the second journey of professional, financial, and personal integration. The slow disciplines of credential evaluation. The financial literacy newcomers are rarely given. The patient construction of a life that compounds over years, not weeks.

We move slowly here. We cite our sources. We do not chase trends or sell quick wins.

About Redjino Mompremier

I am Redjino Mompremier, an agricultural scientist and Professional Agrologist (Ontario Institute of Agrologists). I am a working crop modeler in the AgTech sector, a candidate for Professional Engineer of Ontario, and a quiet student of nature, mathematics, and the patience required to build anything that lasts.

I trained in agricultural sciences in Haiti, earned my Master’s in the United States, and now live and work in Canada. I have walked the path I will be teaching: credential evaluation, the structural failures of the integration pipeline, the financial systems newcomers are rarely shown, the slow work of professional rebuilding under conditions that no one quite prepared me for.

Building Ground is where I teach what no one taught me.

The first series: The Second Journey

The launch series of Building Ground addresses the post-arrival experience of educated immigrants from developing countries. The topics no one covers honestly: financial systems newcomers are never explained, the credential evaluation maze, professional rebuilding that takes longer than anyone admits, the quiet erosion of confidence in a new place, and the methodical work of building forward.

Letters from Building Ground

Occasionally — perhaps once a month — I send a short letter with reflections from the work, behind-the-scenes thinking, and notes that do not fit in a video. No marketing. No urgency. You can unsubscribe at any time.
